This statement describes how Joubert France, with respect to the products, services, and customers of its Polaire brand—a company registered with the Clermont-Ferrand Trade and Companies Register under number 421 243 841 (hereinafter “the Company”), processes personal data collected on the polaire.eu website (hereinafter the “Website”), in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and the French Data Protection Act.

2. Data Collected
Depending on how the Site is used, the Company collects the following data:
- Customer account: title, last name, first name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, password (stored in encrypted form); for business customers: company name, SIRET number, intra-Community VAT number; for resellers: customer account number.
- Orders: order history, products purchased, amounts, shipping method. Credit card information is collected exclusively by the secure payment service provider (SystemPay — Lyra) and is never stored by the Company.
- Vehicles: vehicle specifications saved in the “My Account” section and, if applicable, the license plate number entered to identify the vehicle (processed via the service provider ETAI).
- Forms: Data submitted via contact forms, customer service forms, product registration forms, and newsletter subscription forms.
- Browsing: technical data (IP address, connection logs) and cookies, under the conditions described in the cookie policy.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases
- Management of accounts, orders, deliveries, and customer service—performance of the contract.
- Billing and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
- Sending the newsletter and marketing communications — consent (voluntary subscription; you may unsubscribe at any time).
- Vehicle identification by license plate — performance of pre-contractual measures (assistance in selecting a compatible product).
- Website security, fraud prevention, and usage statistics — the Company’s legitimate interest.
4. Recipients of the Data
The data is intended for the Company’s authorized departments and, within the scope of their responsibilities, for its subcontractors and partners: the Site’s hosting provider [to be completed], payment service provider (Lyra / SystemPay), vehicle identification service provider (ETAI), carriers for order delivery, consent management service provider (Cookiebot), and Google services used on the Site (mapping, address entry assistance). Data is neither sold nor rented to third parties.
5. Retention Periods
- Customer account data: for the duration of the business relationship, followed by limited archiving in accordance with legal requirements.
- Invoicing documents: 10 years (accounting requirement).
- Marketing data (newsletter): 3 years after the last contact or until consent is withdrawn.
- Cookies: as specified in the cookie policy.

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, object to, and request the portability of your data, as well as the right to set guidelines regarding the handling of your data after your death.
