Designed to reduce dynamic separation, the Polaire Steel Sock produces the lowest centrifugal force on the market and, thanks to its cutting-edge technology, protects the vehicle’s components. As the only snow chain solution approved by manufacturers for certain vehicles and tires, it is sometimes the last resort.
The continuous chain track consists of polyurethane pads and a double row of 9-mm reinforced, galvanized steel links. The Polaire Steel Sock’s tread provides standard-compliant traction on snow and ice. Comfortable to drive with, the Polaire Steel Sock requires adjustment before first use…
as intuitive as putting on a sock, its mechanism is patented!
The red polyurethane pads are held in place by the Ultra-Slim elastic band at the rear of the tire: the Polaire Steel Sock requires no mechanical locking mechanism.
The SafetyCross prevents the tire from slipping toward the interior of the vehicle and features 6 comfortable handles.
Its ingenious design minimizes bulk: 9 mm on the tread, 6.5 mm for the rear elastic strap, and just 4 mm on the rear shoulder of the tire.
Compact, lightweight case containing a laminated instruction sheet and a pair of gloves.
