Designed to accommodate the widespread adoption of hybrid and electric vehicles—which are often heavier than conventional internal-combustion vehicles—the Polaire Premium e9 is a reinforced 9-mm traditional chain. Ultra-durable and compact, it offers reduced dynamic slippage and automatic cable tension.
The track consists of 6 to 8 X-shaped profiles with dual longitudinal segments made of 9-mm reinforced, galvanized steel links. Designed to handle load capacities of up to 3.5 metric tons—or even 4.25 metric tons with a trailer—the Polaire Premium e9 provides excellent tread coverage and exceptional traction performance.

The assembly is traditional, featuring a rear cable-lock mounting system that simplifies installation and removal. The self-tensioning system consists of a sturdy and powerful cable reel, making setup, understanding, assembly, and disassembly easier.
